2. Accepting these terms
By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or continuing to use Pattern Stash, you agree to these terms. You must be legally able to enter this agreement. If you use Pattern Stash for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind it.
3. The service and your account
Pattern Stash lets you privately organize crochet patterns using uploaded PDFs and images, saved web links, notes, favorites, and collections. You must provide accurate account information, keep your password confidential, and are responsible for activity under your account.
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Pattern Stash under your selected plan. We do not guarantee that the service will always be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of files, images, notes, and links you add. You give us a limited license to host, process, display, and transmit that content only as needed to provide and protect Pattern Stash.
You must have the rights and permissions needed to upload and use your content. Do not upload content that infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights. Rights holders may send a written infringement notice to our postal address above with their contact details, the work claimed to be infringed, the location of the material, and a good-faith statement. We may remove content and suspend repeat infringers.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use Pattern Stash for unlawful activity, fraud, spam, infringement, harassment, or distributing malware. You may not probe or interfere with security, scrape the service, bypass technical limits, reverse engineer the service except where law permits, resell access, or disrupt other users.
6. Our intellectual property
Simply Hooked, LLC and its licensors own Pattern Stash, including its software, design, documentation, branding, and related intellectual property. These terms do not transfer those rights to you.
7. Plans, payments, and cancellation
The free plan allows up to 25 saved patterns. A paid Pattern Stash Pro subscription allows additional patterns. Current prices and billing frequency are shown before checkout.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Payment, billing, taxes, renewals, cancellations, and refund mechanics are also governed by Paddle’s Buyer Terms. A canceled subscription remains available through the paid billing period, unless otherwise stated at checkout.
8. Suspension and termination
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access for a material breach of these terms, non-payment, a security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. When access ends, your right to use the service ends. Where practical and lawful, we may provide a reasonable opportunity to retrieve your content before deletion.
9. Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pattern Stash is provided “as is” without implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost data, profits, or goodwill.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from Pattern Stash will not exceed the amount you paid us for the service during the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence.
10. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms as Pattern Stash changes. We will post the revised terms and update the effective date. Material changes will apply prospectively after reasonable notice.
These terms are governed by the laws of South Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in South Carolina will have jurisdiction, except where consumer law requires otherwise.
